Hi, I’m Tim (T.M.) Tucker. I write horror and dark fantasy books, all of which you can discover here on this website.
I was born in Shooters Hill, London, an area steeped in history and once notorious for its highwaymen.
From strumming guitar strings to penning articles, my creative journey has been a diverse one. I’ve worn many hats: professional musician, magazine journalist, freelance writer, and digital marketing copywriter. That eclectic background infuses my fiction with a blend of musical rhythm, journalistic precision, and marketing flair.
In May 2020, I published my debut novel, Above the Circle of the Moon, the first instalment in the Cornishe Chronicles. The series blends historical fiction with supernatural elements, following the gripping saga of an 18th-century werewolf and his sons. I’ve since published four more books in the series, each one sinking its teeth a little deeper.
When I’m not crafting words or chasing deadlines, you’ll find me hunting down the best coffee in Bristol, where I live with my wife, two children, and our dog – who, I assure you, is not a werewolf.
My latest novel is a stand alone folk horror called The Lammas Song.
